Course objectives
Understanding the issues of interpretation of international treaties and EU law as a first stage of application. Knowledge of the methods of interpretation and the specifics of the interpretation of EU and international law and the specifics of the interpretation of law by the Court of Justice of the EU.
Learning outcomes
- the student will be able to understand the deeper foundations of legal interpretation in international law as well as in EU law - the student will be able to identify controversies in the interpretation of international treaties and other sources of international law as well as EU law - the student will be able to think critically about theoretical issues in the interpretation of international law and EU law.
