Course objectives
The aim of this course is to acquaint students with selected institutes of private ICT law in the context of positive law regulation. Emphasis will be put on the analysis of the current case law of domestic and foreign courts as well as the practical aspects of the lectured issues.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course the student shall be able to: understand basic aspects of private legal regulation of ICT; analyze and solve particular problems related to private legal jurisdiction on the internet; analyze and solve particular problems related to privacy protection online; analyze and solve particular problems related to the ISP and platform providers liability; analyze and solve particular problems related to domain names and domain disputes; analyze and solve particular problems related to identification and authentication online
