Course objectives
The student will explain the basic pathologies in gynaecology. The students will appraise the stages of womens life, and female reproductive cycle. The student identify the physiology and pathology of females genital organs. The student will discuss the prevention, diagnosis procedures and therapy. The student will construct the planned parenthood.
Syllabus
  • The practice should help reaching high level of skills, bedside care skills in diagnostics and treatment of pathologies: Premature delivery, postterm pregnancy, hypertensive disorders in pregnancy, isoimmunisation, diabetes in pregnancy, multiple pregnancy, fetal distress, bleeding in pregnancy and during the delivery, drug abuse in pregnancy, renal disorders in pregnancy, gynecology disorders in pregnancy.

Teaching Methods Teaching and learning in blocks of lectures. Theoretical sessions and teaching and learning with simulators.
Assessment methods
Theoretical Assessment Continuous Ten true/false and/or short-answer questions after each daily theoretical session. Final Twenty multiple choice and/or matching questions, to be answered in 20 minutes, on the last day of each block.
