Course objectives
Disaster Medicine and integrated Rescue System are a theoretical-practical course. Its goal is to prepare students and paramedics to solve theoreticaly and practicaly aspect of the emergency response with a predominance of medical problems in the prehospital and early hospital phase and cooperation in the framework of the Integrated Rescue System.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
grading the wounded by the START method,
solution of model situations and practical activities with the use of figurant, in case of an emergency in the pre-hospital and hospital phases,
to practically solve emergencies in the field from the point of view of an Integrated Rescue System medical practitioner.
Syllabus
  • Solving model situations and practical training of individual activities with the use of figurant in the prehospital phase,
  • training of the medical classification with the use of a uniform classification and ID cards, START prerequisite training,
  • Participation in synergies exercises of Integrated Rescue System components.
