Course objectives
At the end of the course students should get familiar with the modern molecular-biology techniques and explain the principles of next generation sequencing technologies
Learning outcomes
After taking the course, student will be able to: - apply CRISPR technology in his research - describe the principle of next generation sequencing (NGS) - design NGS experiment - analyze NGS data

  • 1. CRISPR - principles and application 2. Next generation sequencing (NGS) – technological aspects of different NGS platforms 3. Library preparation for NGS 4. Methods for non-coding RNA analysis – miRNA, lncRNA, examples of applications in oncology 5. Data analysis – bioinformatics and statistics 6. Applications and experiment design
