Course objectives
The course affords current informations about molecular genetics and general genetics including practical aplications.
Syllabus
  • Human Karyotype. Chromosomal abberations, Autosomal inheritance, Gonosomal inheritance, Genetic Prognosis.Practical aspects of human genetics, Population genetics, Cancerogenesis. Ames test, Medicine on internet, DNA diagnostics, Basics of genetic engineering, Restriction mapping of plasmid DNA, Practical applications of modern molecular genetics methods.

Assessment methods (in Czech)
Kritéria pro udělení zápočtu: Všechny protokoly, podepsané pedagogem, který dané praktikum učil. Maximálně jedna neomluvená absence nebo maximálně 2 omluvené absence (doložené nebo potvrzené studijním oddělením). Vyšší než uvedený počet absencí bude řešen individuálně a je vázán na prokázání znalostí témat a náplně praktických cvičení.
