Course objectives
Nutrition is considered one of the most important factors influencing physiological processes in health and disease, it also applies to nutrition in childhood, where knowledge is rapidly evolving. The course will focus on current knowledge and views on nutrition healthy and sick child. After completing the course the student will be able, on the basis of acquired knowledge to nutritional diagnosis, objectives and solutions, review, including education of a child patient, also use this information for the prevention, where nutrition in childhood plays an important role.
