Course objectives
Nursing Practice is a practical subject, which integrates knowledge from   Nursing Theory and Practice, basic scientific disciplines, natural, social and behavioral sciences. The course provides consolidation and deepening of professional nursing knowledge and skills. The course content is independent practical work at medical care clinics. The course aims to: - Training, acquisition and consolidation of professional activities in the implementation of the nursing process in natural conditions of medical practice, - Realization of individual nursing care based on knowledge of bio-psycho-social and spiritual needs of the client, - Determination of nursing diagnoses based on   taxonomy NANDA, objectives and plans of nursing care, implementation and evaluation of nursing care, - Formation of nurses professional features, - Application of theoretical knowledge to specific situations medical practice, - Realization of creative approach to problem solving   in medical practice - the bachelor thesis.
Syllabus
  • Nursing practice is focused on the area of secondary health care. Students will become familiar with the structure of hospital services and clinical departments and learn to nursing activities and skills. Through the process of nursing students learn to evaluate the environment (material and human) to assess the needs of the individual and to perform nursing activities.
