Course objectives

Students will gain knowledge and skills needed to implement nursing activities in the field of pre-hospital and hospital emergency care.

Syllabus

First The inputs to the respiratory airway in children and adults, types of air ducts, minitracheostomie, coniotomy, larmasky, intubation through the mouth and nose.
Second Fundamentals of mechanical ventilation with manual and automatic fan. Specifics of nursing care.
3rd Defibrillation, cardioversion, and pacing.
4th Application of medical gases, intoxication.
5th Nursing care in pneumothorax, chest drainage, treatment of the PNP and IP.
6th Nursing care for burns, amputations, polytrauma, spinal trauma, with gunshot wounds.
7th Specifics of immediate and urgent care for children of different ages.
8th Basic material equipment in emergency medicine, emergency vehicle equipment, knowledge of handling this equipment, care of the vehicle, workplace equipment IP, control monitoring techniques.
Solution procedures in intensive care and pre-hospital emergency furnace at specific case studies.
