Course objectives
The course deepens students' knowledge of molecular biology and molecular methods, imaging and analytical techniques used in cell biology, cellular and embryonic differentiation, cellular methabolism, cell signalling and genetics.

Assessment methods
Seminar attendance is mandatory.
Requirements for course completion: full attendance, activity in the seminars. 1 excused absence is allowed (the excuse has to be delivered to the Office for Studies in 5 days from the absence beginning and introduced in the IS) - to complete the course student has to write an essay on a given topic. Similarly in case of inactivity in the seminar or a late arrival to the class, student has to write an essay on a given topic to complete the course. The required essay length is 2 pages. Gain the information for the essay from the literature or internet resources beyond the knowledge of the classes. Write the text in your own words and cite the resouces. Bring the essay printed to the teacher who specified the topic and be ready to answer the teacher's questions regarding the topic.
In case of unexcused absence or more than 1 absence the course cannot be completed.
