- Course objectives
- The subject is conceived as theoretical. It includes anesthesia, intensive care and resuscitation care of children and adults.
The aim is to equip a health rescue worker with the knowledge needed to provide patients with essential life functions, to support and replace them with the use of anesthesia and analgesia techniques for all ages. - Learning outcomes
- The student will be able to:
know the basic techniques of anesthesia in all age groups;
- the student will be able to characterize outpatient anesthesia and analgesia;
know the basics of anesthesia in selected fields (gynecology and obstetrics, urology, orthopedics, head and neck surgery, neurosurgery, burns, pediatrics), specific risks of an advanced age and complicating illness,
- orientation in analgesia techniques in both pre-hospital and hospital care. - Syllabus
- Basic techniques of anesthesia in all age groups; - Pulmonary anesthesia and analgesia; - Parental anesthesia in selected disciplines (gynecology and obstetrics, urology, thoracic and vascular surgery, orthopedics, head and neck surgery, neurosurgery, burns, pediatrics), specific risks of the elderly and complicating diseases,
- - techniques of analgesia in both pre-hospital and hospital care, possibilities of pharmacotherapy.
