Course objectives
1) experiential work with DiE methods 2) development of reflective competence 3) process drama - structuring the drama work 4) cross-curricular lesson design
Learning outcomes
The students understand the concept of Drama in Education. The students are able to prepare basic lessons using process drama as tool. The students are able to pay attention to cross-curricular phenomena in lesson design. The students have tools to facilitate reflective process in the group of students. The students know where to continue with they growth in this area - books, other courses, conferences.
Syllabus
  • Experiential course incorporating drama and EFL - simple drama games - warm-ups and ice-breakers - drama techniques (selected for developing social and EFL skills) - structured and process drama experience - structured and process drama methodology - combining the drama techniques to create cross-curricular lessons.
