At the end of the course students should be able to interpret (1) taxonomy and (2) phylogenetics information connected with knowledge about (3) ecology and (5) distribution of invertebrate animals; (6) identify the most important representatives.

  • 1. "Protozoa" 2. Porifera 3. Cnidaria 4. Platyhelminthes + Gastrotricha 5. Rotifera, , Acanthocephala; Nematoda, Nematomorpha 6. Arthropoda I - Chelicerata 7. Crustacea I - Entomostraca - Branchiopoda; Malacostraca - Isopoda, Amphipoda, Decapoda 8. Myriapoda + Insecta I - Hemimetabola 9. Insecta = Ectognatha II - Holometabola 10.
