Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with an insight into the history of the Jewish nation from ancient times to the modern state of Israel and its place in today's geopolitical situation and in the Far East.
Learning outcomes
By completing the course, the student will gain an idea of the history of the Jewish nation from ancient times to the modern state of Israel and its place in today's geopolitical situation and in the Far East.

  • Introduction; History of the Jews in antiquity; Jews in the Middle Ages; the fate of the Jewish nation in the 20th century; the establishment of the state of Israel; the place of Israel in today's geopolitical situation.
