Course objectives
After passing the course, students will be able to advance and apply the knowledge and skills acquired within the basics of tourism and staying in nature with water tourism. It trains the students in order to prepare and coordinate selected motoric activities of the similar type even in the scope of school physical education.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will be able to use the basic principles of river movement.
Syllabus
  • 1. Refreshing the basics of riding the canoe on still water, moving on flowing water later on, training the basic strokes. 2. Getting into and out of the boat, passing obstacles, ride in the flow and even in harder conditions. 3. Acquaintance with the safety and hygiene guidelines on the water and during the camping. 4. Preparation and coordination of water touring camps for school children, including the knowledge of norms for their organisation.
