Course objectives
The student will acquire theoretical knowledge of diagnostics and therapy of various types of communication disorders; has deepened knowledge of diagnostics and therapy of specifically disturbed speech development of children, developmental dysarthria and dysarthria obtained, aphasia. The student has deep knowledge of concepts and methods in the field of education of pupils with impaired communication skills.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course: - orientates in the definition of the discussed forms of impaired communication ability - has an overview of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures - has an overview of the current professional literature and other sources in our practice, abroad by choice.
Syllabus
  • Speech therapy intervention, three levels of the intervention; therapy of the disordered development of speech; therapy of the developmental dysphasia; aphasia, dysartria; therapeutic strategies, materials and tools; education of pupils with impaired communication skills.
