Course objectives
In this course students learn about the subject of educational research, how theories are created and tested, what is research and its types, how it is designed and conducted, its stages, how to define a research problem, hypotheses, sample, choice of methods, data collection and interpretation. At the end of this course students should be able to understand terminology related to methodology, interpret research results and design minor educational research.
Learning outcomes
Upon finishing the course the students will be able to design their own research project for the purposes of their diploma thesis, inlucing the selection of specific research methods and techniques of data collection and analysis.

Methods (observation, interview, questionnaires, tests, experiment, content analysis). Reliability, validity, objectivity. * Qualitative research. Phases, methods (observation, interview).
