Course objectives
Student: Defines the basic theoretical concepts related to design methods, explains the roots of design methods. Explain the difference between project-based teaching and thematic design, reflects both complex methods in practice. Appropriately chooses the problem for the project and its output. Schedules anticipated progress of the project, explains the phases of the project. Implements the project with pupils. Reflects and asses realized project. By the actual implementation of the project demonstrates an understanding of the theoretical bases of design and realization of teaching project strategies.
Syllabus
  • Interactive teaching as a surpose of project teaching. The role of teacher in the project teaching. Basic knowledge of project creating - written form -the planning of the project: mening, aims, activities, methods and work organization. Implementation of the project in practise. self-avaluation of project work.

Teaching methods
Theoretical preparation in the form of a seminar with e-learning support and with emphasis on a discussion of relevant issues and independent work on the seminar extended essay.
Assessment methods
Demands: a)Written project and its reflection.PPt presentation. b) Written reflection of the competencies for project-based teaching. Criteria for evaluation and self-evaluation: Work meets the content and implementation of the project requirements. Student selects appropriately a task, a problem for the project. Given the purpose of the project student selects the appropriate output of the project. Student defines the objectives at all levels of development of the child's personality. Student schedules anticipated set of activities and tasks involved in the project together with the pupils. Responding flexibly to the needs of students and changes in the project. Student is in the role of advisor.
