Course objectives
The course is aimed at the improvement of speaking ability, communication and comprehension, development of vocabulary and grammar for fluent communication. The course is based on the Inside Out Intermediate coursebook.
Syllabus
  • The course makes use of the material provided in Inside Out Intermediate Student's book and Workbook. Plan: U 5 Kids - Topic: Being a kid, good and bad qualities of parents and children, memories. Grammar: Relative clauses. Unit 6 News - Topic: Being famous, Pros and cons. Grammar: Passive, irregular verbs. Everyday English: Personal news. Unit 7 Party - Topic: Festivals, parties, invitations. Grammar: Future forms. U 8 Review - revision of grammar and vocabulary. Additional activities - based on Workbook and extra materials.

Assessment methods (in Czech)
Requirements: attendance (80%), active participation, all required homework, achievement tests after each Unit (pass mark 65%), Credit - oral interviews in pairs.
