Course objectives
The course introduces students to the issue of injury resulting from road accidents as the general first-aid granted prior to the arrival of professional rescuers. It describes the most immediately life-threatening conditions and their solutions.
Syllabus
  • A brief syllabus: 1. disorders of consciousness, emergency resuscitation 2. injury to the face, head and soft tissue injury to the skull 3. spine and spinal cord injury 4. chest injury 5. injury and pain retroperitonea 6. bleeding (massive blood loss) 7. limb injury 8. polytraumata, virtually Resuscitation
