Course objectives
Function of a president and its signification in accordance with constitutions since 1918 till this time. Characterization of the presidents of the Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic.

  • 1. Function of the president in accordance with constitutions and comparing jurisdictions. 2. T.G. Masaryk and his time. 3. Edvard Beneš. 4. Emil Hácha. 5. Klement Gottwald. 6. Antonín Zápotocký. 7. Antonín Novotný. 8. Ludvík Svoboda. 9. Gustáv Husák. 10. Václav Havel. 11. Václav Klaus. 12. If there is enough time – Slovak presidents , Carpathian-russian president Vološin.
