Prerequisites
The German course for intermediate students who can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc., who can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest, and can read text and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

Course objectives
In the compulsorily-optional German as a Foreign Language Course A, the students will consolidate their language skills from secondary school (Pass in "maturita" in German is required), and will learn some selected academic skills /oral presentation, supporting argument, discussion, etc.) in German. Successful students will be credited for active participattion in the lessons, for oral and written presentations, incl. summary presentation at the end of the semester, plus a written end-of-semester test.
