Course objectives
The main objective of the course Practical English B is to consolidate and develop students' language skills with the focus on practical communicative skills, grammar practice and listening comprehension practice.
Syllabus
  • Grammar practice: revision of tenses, 1st and 2nd conditional, verb patterns, phrasal verbs, passive, relative clauses, prepositions Vocabulary practice: expressing opinion, giving/opposing arguments, describing appearance and character, similarities and differences, human feelings and actions, collocations, British vs. American English, burning issues
