Course objectives
The course aims to acquaint the course participants with the fundamentals of public health protection and the principles of work safety in health care facilities.
Learning outcomes
The graduates will understand and be able to explain the determination of the main determinants of health, ways of their control and modification for the protection of public health, will know the main environmental factors supporting and damaging health, know the causative agents and possibilities of spreading infectious diseases in the working environment, the main factors of prevention, hygiene standards, and limits. Graduates can adhere to the principles of public health protection and principles of work safety in health care facilities.

  • Factors affecting health.
  • Health risks from living and working environment and the possibility of protection against negative effects.
  • Infections, epidemics, their forms and prevention, hygiene and occupational safety at risk of infection.
