Course objectives
The Goal of course is support the specific abbility to working with other teacher in classroom. During the practice students will be cooperate with teacher with preaparing study materials, using pedagogical instruments, co-teach and discussion something about formative assesment and planing lectures for pupils.
The student will try to lead a pedagogical activity in a school classroom (primary school, high school) under the supervision of the accompanying teacher. The student will try tandem teaching as agreed with the accompanying teacher.
Learning outcomes
*understand the process of supporting pupils with SEN *organise goals and choose the methods that are useful in the process of tutorig with respect to a specific child *communicate with the teacher regarding the planning, *implementation and evaluation of educational activities in the classroom coordinate the work of one student as well as groups of students make contact with pupil´s parents
Student communicates individually with a pupil or with a group of pupils in a primary or secondary school. The student interacts with pupils in pedagogical situations
Syllabus
  • The practice is performed by the student at the school of his / her choice continuously for 1 week, optimally 1 week, 8 hours a day. The internship will be in the period 1.-16.9.2022, for a total of 60 hours.
  • Student spends 40 hours in the school on actual educational activity and 20 hours on preparation. The first meeting between the student and the teacher will be held at the chosen school, during which the expectations of both parties will be expressed, a timetable for cooperation will be drawn up and cooperation possibilities and desired outcomes will be agreed on. The student will submit outcomes from practice to an application in electronic form.

Assessment methods
This is continuous practice which the student performs over 1 week before the beginning of the semester. They spend 40 hours in the school on actual educational activity and 20 hours on preparation.
Outputs:
1. confirmation of completion of pedagogical practice;
2. case study - 2 examples collected from a teacher;
3. Group reflection;
4. Evaluation questionnaire;
The output includes a presentation of the results of group work or individual work. The presentation takes place in front of a group of students.

Teacher's information
The practice is performed by the student at the school of his / her choice continuously for 1 week, optimally 1 week, 8 hours a day. The internship will be in the period 1.-14.9.2024, for a total of 60 hours.

The student will arrange the school of their choice in advance. Then student registers agreed school in informational system IS (https://is.muni.cz/auth/praxe). Registration of the agreed practice at the school - in the period from 1.7.-15.8.2024.

There is no limit to the number of places.
