Course objectives
The aim is to help students gain insight into current ethical theories in connection with contemporary moral problems of contemporary society.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
- to perceive different ethical contexts of contemporary problems
- to make reasoned decisions on specific moral problems
- to show an overview of current ethical theories
- compare contemporary ethical theories to solving a particular problem

Jaspers. 3) Postmodernism and moral crisis 4)Humanistic morality and conscience (E.Fromm) 5) Ontology and Ethics. The moral challenge of the biophilic economy. 6) Professional ethics. The Ethics of Teaching. 7) LOHAS lifestyle. Business Ethics. 8) ethics of technology. 10)Feminism and Ecofeminism. 11) Political ethics. 12) Moral issues in fiction.
