Course objectives
Students improve their Slovene vocabulary and fundamental knowledge on Slovene phraseology. They get acquainted with the Slovene literature.
In the end of course Slovene 2
- students are able to make themselves understood in everyday communication;
- students are able to translate Slovene texts into Czech;
- students have got fundamental knowledge about Slovenian literature and they are pressupossed to know the most famous Slovenian writers.

  • 1. Reading Slovene texts.
  • 2. Conversation.
  • 3. Dispersion of knowlege on Slovenia.
  • 4. Vocabulary of Slovene.
  • 5. Phraseology.

Teaching methods
- reading, reading comprehension;
- practising of vocabulary;
- practising of translation;
- analysis of Slovenian texts;
- class conversations.
Assessment methods
Seminary course.
Ending: Credit
Credit requirements:
- active working at seminars
- individual work - written translation of Slovene belletristic text or of Slovene journalistic text into Czech.
