Course objectives
Students will learn about the range of contemporary literature for young adults in English,they will analyze its themes, and evaluate its use in their future English classes for Czech students.

  • 2. Modern poetry for children.
  • 3. Young adult fiction I.
  • 4. Young adult fiction II.
  • 5. Fantasy fiction.
  • 6. Science fiction.
  • 7. Manga, graphic novels, and comic books.
  • 8. Folk tales: contemporary and modern.
