Course objectives
The goal of the subject are exercises in spoken language understanding and systematic training of Russian spelling in dictations with following correction of mistakes.
Syllabus
  • 1st Use letter soft sign. 2nd Practicing spelling rules for writing a letter soft sign. 3rd Use a hard point character. 4th Spelling of vowels in   root words. 5th Spelling vowels following prefixes. 6th Spelling consonants and vowels in the suffixes. 7th Spelling   vowels in endings. 8th Spelling consonants in prefixes. 9th Substitution of consonants in the root of the word. 10thDouble consonants. 11thSpelling Russian prefixes. 12thSummary curriculum.

Teaching methods
Regular active participation in the class: four absences per semester are allowed, continuous assessment and doing the required home assignments based on the learnt theory and terminology.
