- Course objectives
- At the end of this course the student will be able to:
To understand the wider group and types of information processing, self-use software for word processing, spreadsheets, charts, graphics, databases and presentations; choose appropriate software for data processing, presentation process according to the principles of their formation and act in accordance with the interpretation of the principles of presentation; oriented in terms of computer graphics and image data formats, edit graphical data. - Syllabus
- Word processing (MS Word, work with text and formatting, inserting objects into the texts, the educational use of text documents, other applications to work with text printing)
- Presenting in teaching and presentation types (Types of presentations, how to present, layout presentations, nonverbal communication, presentation equipment and its use in practice )
- Development of presentations (PowerPoint presentation, timing, effects, adding objects, preparation and presentation of export, other types of applications for creating presentations)
- Tables and charts (MS Excel and work with tables, formatting, formulas and functions, creating charts, printing of tables and publications)
- Databases and Database Systems ( Basic concepts of databases, relational database model, MS Access DBS)
- Processing raster graphics (raster graphics, digital photography and camera, the concepts from the area, the application for processing raster graphics, basic editing of images for use in teaching)
- Processing of vector graphics (vector graphics - possibilities and benefits of creating and editing images, creating charts and diagrams)

- practical exercises on the computer with the necessary software, distance learning
- Assessment methods
- In the classroom, students develop individual tasks in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, interactive support, animated images. Vytviří own video, edited and modified sound pictures. All defend. Furthermore, knowledge confirmed in ongoing trials.
