Course objectives
Students: explain the sexual dimorphism in the human appearance and behavior, understand the patterns of sexual and erotic behavior, be knowledgeable in fylogenesis and ontogenesis of sexual behavior in context of other members of order Primates, primarilly of great apes, understand of biological basis of reproduction strategies of men and women, importance of marriage and family, changes of sexuality in marriage and reasons of genital mutilations.
Learning outcomes
Student:- uses correct professional anthropological terminology- defines the genetic, gonadal, genital, somatic, psychosocial and matrix sex in humans and lists gender mismatch disorders at these levels.- state the main stages of postnatal gender development and the nature of physical sexual dimorphism as well as differences in sexual strategies and behavior- explain on selected examples of givenness and peculiarities in sexual and erotic behavior according to cultural affiliation, religion or age and gender applied mainly to the relations of Euro-American civilization to other civilizations and cultures.

The course is taught annually.
Teacher's information
In the spring 2021 semester, the course will be taught as follows: 1) study texts will be inserted in the study materials, which, together with the recommended literature, will be the basis for the acquisition of knowledge necessary for the successful completion of the course. 2) completion of the course will take place through three online tests, which will be introduced in the IS during April 2021, so that students of state students have the opportunity to complete the course in the required time. The condition is the successful completion of three final online tests to verify the studied knowledge.
