- Anotation:
The aim of the course is to obtain knowledge about the topic of clear specifics related traffic safety and traffic education and university level. The emphasis is on the logical structure of this discipline and to acquire knowledge and skills needed to teach courses focused on transport in the knowledge that pupils secondary schools are the future drivers of motor vehicles. The course also focuses on practical work as teachers escort students during transfers (in traffic) as part of school events. In this context, attention is paid to protection of health and nature. The course is focused on the implementation of prevention of risk behavior in traffic to basic prevention programs according to the nature of the specialization of secondary age category of pupils, including the use of traffic playground etc. The consultations are included activation method of discussion, simple case studies, practical solutions to situations on traffic playground etc.
Objectives: Knowledge: A comprehensive overview of the knowledge about the specifics of the topic of traffic safety and the traffic education with an emphasis on the relationship of the subject matter to human health, nature, practice, technology, etc. Skills: Being able to describe the principles of safe behavior in traffic as pedestrians, cyclists and car drivers. Conducted sufficient analysis of specific risk factors. Use the subject matter for the prevention of risky behavior in high school. Prove to safely move to the formation of students in the traffic environment. Apply the knowledge gained in the course specifics related traffic safety and traffic education in educational and technical experience, including prevention. Attitude: To learn the value of health education, prevention of injuries and deaths on the roads. Deepen the values of ethical behavior and responsibility towards themselves and others. Deepen the values to environmental protection. - Learning outcomes

Basic characteristics of transport safety in relation to traffic education.
Identify and characterize traffic risk factors in the context of teaching.
To characterize the specifics of traffic education in the Czech Republic. - Syllabus
- The syllabus of the lectures (after weeks or blocks) 1. A transport environment - characteristics, the legislative framework governing the safety and flow of traffic on roads. 2. The system comprising the transport environment. Man, roads, means of transport. 3. The violence and aggression in traffic. Ethical behavior in traffic. Preventing injuries and deaths associated with transport. Environment. 4. The risks associated with movements departments pupils (in traffic) as part of school events. Analysis of specific problem situations. 5. The transport Education - basic concepts. Relationship traffic safety and traffic education. 6. The prevention of issues of safety on the roads. 7. The special Characteristics of traffic education in the family. Specifics of traffic education in preschool education. 8. The specifics of the traffic education on the first grade of primary school. Specifics of the traffic education at second level of elementary school. 9. The specifics of traffic education at various types of secondary schools. 10. The minimum preventive program. Characteristics and rules creation program. 11. The creation of a specific prevention program, or parts thereof, aimed at preventing the traffic environment using the knowledge of the principles of safety in transport. 12. Driving School. Other safety training and road - obtaining a driving license, improvement of professional competence, the professional education.

Basic characteristics of traffic safety in traffic education. Identify and characterize
Risk Factors in transport related subject teaching. Characterize the specifics of the traffic education in the country.
Use adequately knowledge of thematic consultations in the educational process, including prevention. Can safely move to the formation of students in the traffic environment.
The participation in practice - the traffic field, in the range of 4 hours; Processing of selected issues on the topic number 10, 11 and the debate within a colloquium; - Language of instruction
