Course objectives
In this course we will explore:
- how languages are learnt (or brief introduction of second language learning theories);
- what happens when we listen/read/write/speak in a second language (or brief introduction of cognitive processes involved in listening, ...);
- what the role of memory is in second language learning;
- what the role of consciousness, language input and interaction is in second language learning;
- what we can learn from the above about language teaching.
