Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarized as follows:
to take ones bearings in legislation of laboratory working experience for primary and secondary school
to be acquainted with and know how to practically apply principles of good laboratory practice
to get up to apply the principles of the laboratory regulations, fire-safety and work hygiene
to overmaster the principles of treatment with the chemical materials and preparations and their waste
to overmaster the principles of the work safety and health protection
to overmaster the classification and notation of chemical materials and preparations according to EU and CR ordinances
to know and to be able to use the protective tools and agents
to be able to apply the first aid treatment
to know the sources of toxikological and ekotoxikological informations
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
orientate in the legislation of laboratory practice in primary and secondary schools
know and know how to apply the principles of good laboratory practice
learn to apply the principles of laboratory regulations, fire protection and occupational hygiene
control principles for handling chemicals, preparations and wastes
to control occupational health and safety at work in a chemical laboratory
to control the classification and labeling of chemicals and preparations according to EU and CR regulations
to know and to be able to use protective aids and means for work in a chemical laboratory
to be able to apply first aid in dealing with chemicals
know sources of toxicological and ecotoxicological information
