Course objectives
The aim of the course is to consolidate the skills of correct writing in Russian, expanding the knowledge of Russian spelling rules by selecting those chapters that make students difficult, development of language competence using previously acquired lexikon and knowledge of linguistic disciplines (phonetic and morphological phenomena).
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
correctly write in Russian;
explain special cases of use and writing consonant groups;
apply acquired knowledge when creating Russian sentences;
use the information obtained to develop scills of writing in Russian.
Syllabus
  • 1. Special cases of use of "э", "й", "и".
  • 2. Voiced and voiceless consonants.
  • 3. Spelling prefixes that end with "с", "з".
  • 4. Spelling of nouns composed of composition.
  • 5. Spelling two identical consonants in nouns.
  • 6. Spelling of adjectives.
  • 7. Writing one and two "н" in suffixes of adjectives.
  • 8. Spelling adverbs.
  • 9. Spelling spells.
  • 10. Spelling spelling.
  • 11. Spelling of particles.
  • 12. Repetition.
