Prerequisites
The course is intended for students of master degree studies. Basic knowledge on history of baroque painting in 17th and 18th century in the Czech lands and in central Europe is presupposed.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
During the course a basic knowledge of the baroque painting in the Czech lands within the frame of central Europe and Italy in 17th and 18th century will be deepened and extended. The course is focused on improving of student skills in the field of heuristic, critical approach to data and working with art historical sources as well.
Learning outcomes
After finishing the course student should be able to:
Describe the specifics of the baroque painting in the Czech lands in 17th and 18th centuries
Show a solid orientation in the relevant sources and literature
Write an entry dealing with a chosen artist
