Course objectives
Students will be introduced to the practical work of the online magazine editing, editorial tasks and editors-in-chief’s, editors’ and webmasters’ work. Primarily, the course will focus on improving the reflection (and self-reflection) of theatrical reviews or analyses.
Syllabus
  • 1. - Online magazine, its functioning plus a general introduction to Czech and Slovak online magazines
  • 2. - 3. - Text editing
  • 4. - 5. - Editing of one’s own texts (based on the joint visit of two theatrical performances)
  • 6. - Reflection of theater performance
  • 7. - Presentation of the semester project

Assessment methods
Regular preparation; participation in seminars (1 absence without leave maximum).
Exam: a review (based on one theatrical performance) plus editing of two texts followed by a discussion
