The student needs to have basic knowledge about theoretical linguistics and B1 level of Catalan.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
In this subject students will learn about morphology of Catalan language. The main goal of the subject is that students acquire a general domain of the morphological and lexical processes that take place in the Catalan language.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student must be able to:
1. Explain what is morphology focused on and its main aims.
2. Define basic concepts about the various morphological processes.
3. Analyze word formation and inflection in Catalan.
4. Recognize the morphological constituents and their characteristics in Catalan.
