Course objectives
Managment systems in general, historical survey. Basic types of organization, their advantages and disadvantages. Possibilities of eclectic partial utilization of variours managment approaches. Main applications of psychological knowledge in the field of managment and organization.
Syllabus
  • 1. Position of the Organizational and Managment Psychology within the system of psychological sciences. 2. Connection to knowledge acquired by students prior to the course. 3. Emplyment opportunities for psychologists in the field. 4. Definition of current psychological area (Czech Republic, European Union), influences of foreign companies and socialistic anachronism. 5. Classical approaches to managment. main autors, their advantages and disadvantages. 6. Psychology of market, marketing managment. 7. Human resource managment. 8. Motivation and work behaviour. 9. Work appreciation as a managment tool. Seminars: 1. Utilization of classical approaches in contemporary managment. 2. Mistakes in managment and their causes in contemporary organizations. 3. Methods of motivation measurement - motivators and their saturation, - motivators in the managment style.
