Course objectives
The subject of the course is all the changes which have taken place in the phonetic, morphological and syntactic systems of the Ukrainian language during the various stages of its development from the earliest times up to the present. The main factors resulting in change are uncovered and the place of Ukrainian amongst the other Slavic languages is explained.
