Course objectives (in Czech)
V první části cyklu budou studenti seznámeni s důsledky populační exploze ve velkých městech během 19. století obecně a na konkrétních případech (Paříž, Vídeň a možná srovnání v rámci ČR), s jejich proměnou a s novými jevy v každodenním životě, které se v důsledku růstu měst objevily. Ve druhé části bude zkoumána možnost a realita pastorace velkých měst. Velká pozornost bude věnována stavbám nových kostelů, z nichž mnohé patří ke skvostům světové sakrální architektury 19. a 20. století. Výuku bude doprovázet velké množství obrazové dokumentace sakrální architektury daného období a možnost podílet se aktivně na rozšiřování obrazové databáze kostelů.
