Course objectives (in Czech)
Kurs má posluchače blíže seznámit s vývojem, který portrét v řeckém prostředí prodělal od konce klasického období do pozdního helénismu. V úvodu je portrét definován a je pojednána i tradice starší. V obecné části je vymezena řecká a římská portrétní tradice, jejich zásadní ideové rozdíly. V jednotlivých přednáškách jsou rozebírány skupiny portrétů podle charakteru portrétovaných (intelektuálové: řečníci, filosofové, básníci a dramatici; helénističtí vládcové) a jsou vymezovány jejich specifické rysy. Akcentován je také stylový vývoj, především progrese během třetího století př. Kr.

  • Helénistický portrét 1. Úvod do plastiky konce 4. a počátku 3. století, obecné rysy, novinky, změny oproti starší plastice. 2. Portrét v řeckém umění, tendence na přelomu 4. a 3. století. 3. Portréty řečníků 4. a 3. století. 4. Filosofický portrét – epikurejci, kynikové, stoikové. 5. Portréty básníků a dramatiků. 6. Portréty Alexandra Velikého. 7. Helénistické dynastie. Ptolemaiovci. 8. Helénistické dynastie. Pergamon. 9. Helénistické dynastie. Seleukovci. 10. Portrét pozdního helénismu. Ostatní.
