Course objectives
Seminars of Croatian / Serbian / Bulgarian, deepening and further expansion of the vocabulary, specific terms and expressions (phrases), the emphasis on active language (exercises aimed at deepening the comprehensive level of Croatian / Serbian / Bulgarian, inc. translation exercises).
Syllabus
  • Serbian language: grammar of the seminar is dedicated to the deepening already gained practical knowledge from morphology (declension, verb tenses, comparation of adjectives) and word formation with different exercises. Lexical part focuses on the expansion of vocabulary through the exercises of synonyms, antonyms, slang and phrases. Part of seminar dedicated to conversation is based on the processing of following topics: language and communication, art, computers and new technology, ecology, space, customs and superstition, work (writing the biography and a motivation letter). Each topic is followed with several texts from the area (generally adequate to newspaper articles or Internet).

Assessment methods
For Serbian: Conditions for final test: - A maximum of 3 absences, all homeworks (a total of 8), translation from Czech to Serbian 1 page A4 text of your choice (the term for submission of translations - the last session in November  ). Examination: - The test consists of two parts, grammatical and lexical.   In order to pass the test a student must complete correctly 70% of each exercise).
