- Course objectives
- The objective of this course is to introduce students to Romani literature in French. The course will present an overview of available materials and their selective translation (literary texts, texts relevant to the context Romani writers work in - historical, sociological, general cultural framework).

- Roma language and its position in today's world
- Roma culture in Francophone countries. Literature, music, theatre
- State and non-state organizations dealing with the Roma in France
- Translating Roma terms from French into Czech
- Internet as source of information
