Course objectives
The seminars consist of video projections (opera, film, document, concert) preceded by a brief introductory lecture. The aim of the seminar is to broaden the cultural scope of students and ability to critically review and examine the work. The length of the seminar is irregular, depending on the actual duratas. Eight critical mini-essays have to be submitted.

Teaching methods
lectures, projections, readings, class discussion, excursion
Assessment methods
A brief introductory lecture (20-35 minutes) is followed by the screening itself. An optional discussion follows. Eight miniessays must be submitted at the end of every semester. The most important thing is the ability to make and formulate one's own critical opinion. Plain factual texts won't be accepted.
