Prerequisites (in Czech)
Der Begriff ‘Geschlecht’ umfasst in der deutschen Sprache zwei binäre Konzepte: das biologische Geschlecht (englisch sex) einerseits, und die soziale Geschlechterrolle (englisch gender) andererseits. Wir wollen uns in diesem Seminar anschauen, – wie Geschlecht in der deutschen Sprache traditionell dargestellt wird; – welche Kritik von Seiten des Feminismus daran geübt wird; – welche sprachplanerischen Änderungen hin zu einer geschlechtergerechten Darstellung in der deutschen Sprachen vorgenommen worden sind, – und welche davon erfolgreich waren. Dabei soll die deutsche Sprache mit anderen europäischen Sprachen verglichen werden.
