Course objectives
Subject "Basics of Pedagogy" offer to students a view to methods, targets, forms and subject of educational processes. Offer a summary of the teacher, pupils, pedagogy communication, of curriculum and other problems of contemporary pedagogy.
Syllabus
  • 1. Pedagogy, its subject, objectives, methods, position among social sciences, disciplines, basic terminology. 2. History of pedagogy and education. 3. Teaching as profession. 4. Pupil as a subject of education. 5. Pupils specific problems and needs. 6. Communication at school. 7. Classroom and school social climate, educational environment. 8. Curriculum. 9. School as institution, Czech education system, school legislation, basic documents and trends of educational policy. 10. School - family cooperation. 11. Alternatives and innovations in school education. 12. Actual problems of contemporary pedagogy.
