Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The course represents an archaeological project in the valley CHABUR, conducted in the years 1984 - 2000 by Professor Hole.
Syllabus
  • Lectures approach individual sites on which to carry out research, such as Umm Qseir and Ziyadeh.
  • The team of Professor Hole in addition to excavation also dealt with the surface surveys in the area and the course will focus on the performance research questions and methodology of the project.
  • Another part of the course will be subject geographic and climatic factors which characterize the Chabur valley, and that allowed the cultural development in the region since the Neolithic period.
