Course objectives
Když Johann Wolfgang Goethe rozlišil na přelomu 18. a 19. století ženu jako bytost na jedné straně empirickou a na straně druhé nadanou tajemstvím, tematizoval rozlišení, které doprovází evropskou kulturu již o mnoho století dříve. Co činí z ženy onu tajemnou bytost a proč je tato tajemnost zároveň podnětem sociálního vydělení a represí s nimi spojenými. Klade si pak foucaultovskou otázku, co dává konkrétním kulturám právo na tato vydělení, jakými ideologiemi jsou tyto kultury podepřeny.
Syllabus
  • This course deals with the witch-hunt problem as a transition from the Middle Ages to the Modern Societies. The contemporary form of this psicosis is the fear of terrorism.
