Course objectives
The course is focused on the primary written sources, especially useful for art historians. Basic orientation in structure of archives in the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic and Austria - types and structure of archive fonds, collections, historical records and documents. Attention will be focused on work with primary sources - reading, interpretation (from the 18th to the 20th Century). An Excursion.
